| Cam Allan, Sales Manager
Cam knows his way around machines. A curiosity about how things were made began his career and after working in the automotive service industry, Cam entered the world of machine tools, and has stayed there happily for 20 years. His area of expertise within the Team includes customer contact and quoting, machine sales, and new and used machine dealer liaison, among many other things. He also spearheads Team’s marketing and advertising initiatives. As a young boy, Vitaly's toys never lasted more than a couple of days…he was constantly taking them apart, piece by piece. A few years later, he added to his repertoire by starting to re-assemble, fix and rebuild all of the toys. Although he’s moved on from toys, Vitaly's curiosity to successfully rebuild machinery has never waned. Today, Vitaly's role at Team is to handle mechanical engineering, PLC programming, applications and technical sales. After graduating in the Ukraine with a Masters degree in mechanical engineering and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment automation, Vitaly went on to work at one of Russia’s leading coal mining equipment manufacturers for 15 years, eventually becoming the Director of the CNC department. After moving to Canada, Vitaly continued to work in the large equipment manufacturing field, eventually becoming the service manager for a large machine tool company. In 2002, Vitaly set out with his partners to form Team Machine Tool, a company that he says succeeds because all of its members have the ‘know how’ to get the job done properly. Daryl’s fascination of how things work started very young, when he managed to rock and manoeuvre his crib across a room to sort out how the light switch turned his room light on and off. By the time he was 16, he had already taken apart and completely re-assembled his first car engine – barely knowing how to drive!
After receiving his Millwright license in 1987 and learning the machining ropes at various companies, Daryl landed at a leading Japanese machine tool builder that supplied medium to large machine tools to all manufacturing sectors. Over the years, Daryl rose from Field Service Engineer, to North American Service Manager to Vice President of Engineering. In 2002, he formed Team Machine Tools Inc. with his partners, with a goal to providing customers with top quality service; something that he feels strongly can only be achieved by a company that works as a team - together and with their customers.
Today, Daryl manages and coordinates the various projects of Team with super efficiency, as well as provides all aspects of field work – from laser calibration to repairs and complete machine rebuilds.

What is it with these guys taking apart their toys as kids?! As with his Team partners, toys never lasted long in Andrei’s household before they were completely taken apart. And in his case, Andrei takes the prize for the Team - his toys’ average survival rate was 2-3 days! Pursuing his fascination with how things worked led Andrei into a career in machine tools; first, graduating with his Master’s degree in Technology of Machine Manufacturing and Machine Tools in St. Petersburg, Russia, and then putting his education to use at a large machine builder in Russia. After 15 years as a Service Engineer with the machine builder (and several more years prior a designer and quality control guy!), Andrei made his way to Canada via Egypt. Once in Canada he continued in his chosen field of machine tools and worked for 6 years as a service engineer with two different companies.
Andrei is a founding partner of Team Machine Tools Inc. and oversees the technical aspects of machine assemblies. He also handles machine tests, alignment and design. He believes that Team is a company that works because of its professionalism in the machinery industry; each of the members has the know-how to fix machines properly and accurately.
