The steady growth of Team Machine Tools over the past five years necessitated the need for more space and particularly the need for better facilities to house large machinery. “When we started Team Machine Tools in 2002, there were only 4 partners,” says Daryl Grice, President. “We now have in excess of 30 employees forming several divisions, including project management, engineering, applications and parts, so we’re really pleased that we now have a building that not only brings all the departments under one roof, but that also greatly expands our shop capabilities.” The new office, located at 5205 Tomken Road, Mississauga, offers 11,000 square feet of warehouse space alone that is completely outfitted for machine tools, including overhead cranes and bigger door and ceiling heights – all ideal to accommodate the large boring and milling machines that Team services, retrofits and sells on a regular basis. Dakic brings over 15 years of machine tool experience, most recently as Manufacturing Manager at Accurate Mould. Previously, he was the company’s Special Project Manager. Team’s full service approach to machine automation has expanded to include line of CNC Boring Mills for North American end users Toronto, October 15, 2007 – Visitors to Team Machine Tools’ booth (#4011) at the Canadian Machine Tool Show will have the opportunity to find out all about the latest projects for Team, including the introduction of Crane Automation, a line of world class Horizontal Boring and Milling specially customized for the North American market.
