Project: To disassemble, transport and install one of the largest Vertical Turning Lathes in the US.

Timeframe: 2022 – 2024. Two years from purchase to final testing

Overview: L&H Industrial is a global company that provides solutions for heavy industries, offering design, engineering, manufacturing, monitoring, and maintenance services for some of the biggest machines in the world.

Project Highlights:

Team Machine is contracted by L&H Industrial, headquartered in Gillette, WY, to disassemble, transport and install a 12.8 meter CNC Vertical Boring Machine from York, PA to Tempe, AZ
In September 2023, Team began installation, after L&H built a completely new foundation and related machine guarding and electrical substation
Team Machine was responsible for preparing all assemblies and major components for pre-assembly and rigging into the final position within the foundation
Installation also included all electrical, piping, hose and fittings connections; fastening, rough leveling and fine adjusting the major components; final laser calibration, hydrostatic pocket clearances, and advisement on emergency stops, crane clearances and parameters

Installation of a 12.3 meter CNC Vertical Boring Machine

Project: Installation of a Toshiba BF-130B CNC floor type horizontal Boring and Milling Machine

Project Highlights:

Skrlin constructed a new foundation for the Toshiba BF-130B CNC
Team Machine ensured proper placement of the bed way and rough levelling
Large components from locations within the plant were placed by overhead crane to final positions on the foundation
All external and internal wiring were connected from the Power Distribution Panel, clearances checked, and gib and wedges fitted
Conducted pre start-up checks, powered and moved the machine to begin final alignment and lasering
Provided operator training on the Tosnuc 888 control

Project: Removal and installation of an Innse Berardi CNC Horizontal Machine Center from Siemens Energy Plant in Duisburg, Germany to Siemens Energy in Painted Post, New York

Timeframe: January 2022-May 2023

Project Highlights:

Team Machine dismantled and removed the Innse Berardi CNC Horizontal Machine Centre from Siemens Germany over 5 weeks
Siemens packaged and shipped via ocean freight to their plant in New York
After a new foundation was complete, Team Machine began to uncrate all components and casting for assembly
Modifications were made to many pieces to suit the new foundation and surrounding support equipment, with installation completed in May 2023
